THIS IS A STORY YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!
so. I went to the laundromat to wash blankets. This was my first time ever washing things there.
Before I left my mom asked me, " Beks, have you ever been the laundromat before?"
I responded, " Of course mom."
You see the truth is, I have only been inside one, never done any washing myself.
When I arrived the woman running it, asked me if I knew what I was doing. I kindly informed her that I was perfectly ignorant. She showed me how to wash some of the big stuff. Then she left, and Courtney and I had to put in a big bag of sheets. The bag consisted of four twin bedding sets and one queen set. Because I didn't want to spend so much money, I figured I could fit it all into a single loader.
While I was trying desperately to SHOVE all the sheets in here, this following conversation occured:
Courtney: " Bekah...I'm not sure this is a good idea." Bekah: "Oh, Court it's gonna be fine." Courtney: "um....alright Bek." Bekah: "........uh.....got it!" *dumps soap in* *smooshes lid down.* "Now we wait!" Courtneu: " *rolls eyes* alright."
while we were waiting Courtney suggested I put my business cards up on the buletin board, so I did.
....violent ratteling occurs....
Courtney: "What's that sound?" Bekah: " Everything is fine, it's okay!" Courtney: " I really don't think so..."
*Owner comes running through the door screaming, "MY BELTS, MY BELTS!"
Courtney looks at Bekah.....Bekah looks at Courtney....
The woman helped me move my laundry to a double loader, while giving me a nice little lecture. Apparently these are the ones you can wash big groups of sheets in.
moral of the story: read the labels and listen to Courtney.
